Sure, this controller lacks the charm of other controllers with their fancy 20 buttons, but for a simple 10 button controller, this thing suceeds in every way possible. With it's plug and play interface, you can plop this baby into just about any computer and start playing. The controller has the PSX feel, so it is great for almost all action games. It even works with obscure no name games. I have not found one game this controller does not work with. Like I said, it lacks numerous buttons which can suck for top end shooter games, but for almost any other game, 10 is more than enough. I was just playing Lord of the Rings the other day and it performed miracously. If you want a good controller for those freeware action games and the more beefed up commercial games, look no further than the Gravis Game Pad Pro.

I have had mine for almost 7 years now and it still works. If that doesn't say craftmanship, what does?

I purchased this as a christmas gift for my boyfriend. The controller is stylish and functional just like a regular corded Xbox 360 controller. The logo looks great on it and is very glossy. The only draw back is that sometimes the controller causes the xbox 360 to run slowly....like the game is trying to catch up with the controller. It only does is with this controller so it's not the xbox 360. Maybe the brand has something to do with it Mad Catz. I've always had this kind of issue with this brand...dated back to my Sega dreamcast days. I wish microsoft would make the logo controllers. I know that it would work perfect. This is a great controller. The included disk is fine for Vista installation, but with Windows 7, it just starts working within seconds of plugging it in for the first time! The response is excellent and the range is great for my needs (less than 20 feet). My only complaint, a minor one at that, is that the vibration doesn't work with any of the games I have. The pad will vibrate when you turn vibration on, but in such things as the Lego series (Starwars, Batman, Indy), Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Battlestar Galactica, I get no vibration in game. I don't mind so much, though, as I'm sure that extends the battery life!

Now, if only they'd get to work on a Bluetooth controller, and there'd be no need to even have a base station to plug into the computer!
